When thinking about how the community may input data into the system we began thinking about whether we wanted this to be something people consciously did or whether it could just be generated from existing data waste. Robert led us onto this article that explores big data as a future economy. I think this provides the necessary input as the data really does come from EVERYONE and not just those who wish to voice their opinions/can find the time and effort to. This will also mean there will be no slow down on input activity if this system were to begin losing popularity.
