RE:MAP
It took a while to come to this name but it stands out to me for several reasons.
- Firstly, it draws reference to the geo located nature of this project. This is an important aspect of its design and therefore needs some hint as to it in the title.
- Furthermore, this is looking at remapping our landscape based on a cultural network of stories, therefore the shortened remap is appropriate to this.
- The project is about changing peoples values and beliefs in regard to outsiders. The "RE" is a good prefix for change and summaries the aims of the project.
- It's simplicity makes it easy to talk about, share and say. As well it is not an acronym (acronyms are too overused and don't relate to anything or have a personal connection like a real word does)
