The interface I have designed uses a simply colour filter to abstract the map slightly. This has been done to create a sense of a dreamscape landscape which emanates the intangible and slightly incomprehensible nature of a story. I have chosen the Port of Brisbane as an example for this map. For me, a port symbolises multiculturalism, it is a place where all cultures meet and unite with the same purpose of trade.
The pulsating circles suggest the way a user would scroll through the stories in a visual manner before selecting to listen to one. The symbol which has been previously explored has been turned into a marker for the location of the uploaded story.
